How Product Selection Can Impact LEED Certification May 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM EDT / 1:00 PM CDT / 12:00 PM MDT / 11:00 AM PDT / 6:00 PM GMT

With the overhaul of the Materials & Resources credit category as part of the LEED v4 rollout, it can be a little confusing to figure out how the selection of certain products earns points toward certification. This webinar will explain how LEED v4 is different from its predecessors, the revamp of the Materials & Resources credits section, the different ways that product transparency documents can be used to satisfy those credits, how to identify manufacturers that provide this documentation and how certain products can help achieve LEED points. After watching this webinar, you will be able to:
  • Explain the difference between HPDs, EPDs, and MHAs.
  • Describe how cabling systems can help earn LEED points.
  • Identify the differences in LEED v4 requirements vs. previous versions of LEED.
  • Recognize manufacturers that properly ensure transparency and credibility through product documentation.
